Nelson Bird is News Reporter, Aboriginal Affairs Specialist, and Host and Co-Producer of CTV Saskatchewan’s weekly current affairs program Indigenous Circle. Born and raised on the Peepeekisis First Nation In 1997 he graduated from the University of Regina / First Nations University with a degree in Journalism and Indigenous Studies He also has a certificate in Indian Communication Arts. Nelson started with CTV Saskatchewan in 1998 as a video journalist, producer, and anchor person. His job allows him to tell the stories of Aboriginal people from across Canada and beyond. Another part of his work, which he loves, is to train young aboriginal people and encourage them to be the best they can. He conducts motivational speeches at schools and universities. Bob is a freelance TV producer, and Journalism trainer based in Montreal. Specializing in shaping content to be included in sports programs.Work as a documentary director, coordinating features producer, and a field producer. In 2010, also returned to on-air work for the first time since leaving my job as sportscaster at CBC Montreal a decade ago. Away from production, 2010 saw Bob complete a cross-Canada tour for the CBC Training Department, visiting each regional newsroom to give his “Going Live” workshop to radio and TV journalists. Richard Agecoutay has been working in the media arts field for over 20 years. Over the course of his career, Richard has worked as a freelance photographer, theatre technician, an ENG/EFP/SNG Videographer, ENG news editor, tape producer, video journalist, and story producer for broadcast television. An award-winning filmmaker, photographer and cultural activist, Richard has wide and varied experiences as an electronic cinematographer and director of photography.
